Jupiter, vol. I

Jupiter, vol I. is a photo book that documents my encounters with the planet Jupiter, between the years 2015 - 2020. Each time I notice the planet Jupiter in the sky, I point to the planet, and take a photo with my phone. In each photo, Jupiter is seen as a white dot. On each page in the book, the white dot has been placed in the same coordinate regardless of where it is in the image—meaning that some photos, because of a low or high location of the dot within the image, may bleed off the top or bottom of the page. Jupiter becomes the constant, while everything else around it shifts.

The book is titled ‘vol. I’ as the photo project continues and future editions of the book will be released.
